Troops 401 and 8401

Member Workspace

Paperless Tools

Troop members can sign up for outings, offer rides, and find troop resources online instead of on paper sign-up sheets and scattered emails.

Event Signups

Respond to outings without a paper sign-up sheet.

  • See where an outing goes, when and where to meet, what it costs, and what to pack.
  • Respond once for every Scout and adult in your household, and change your answer until the deadline.
  • Offer a ride: how many passenger seats you have and whether you can carry troop gear.

Troop Resources

The troop’s reference material in one place.

  • Meeting agendas, notices, expectations, forms, and packing lists.
  • Each item shows who keeps it current and when it was last checked.
  • Links go straight to Scoutbook and official Scouting America documents.

For Leaders

Less time chasing headcounts and rides.

  • See who is coming, who has not answered, and whether there are enough seats.
  • Record responses that came in on paper or in person.
  • Print a roster or download it for the trip.

Getting Started

Three steps

  1. Step 1

Use Google or a one-time email link. There is no password to create.

  2. Step 2

    Get approved

If the troop invited you, signing in with that email address gets you in right away. Otherwise a troop administrator approves your account first.

  3. Step 3

    Respond to outings

Open Event Signups, pick an outing, and answer for your household.

Privacy

Only troop members can see it

Nothing in the member workspace is public. Families see their own household and the troop's outings and resources. Only leaders see rosters and everyone's responses.

Advancement and merit badge records stay in Scoutbook, so keep using it for those.
